Cooking with Kels… (a comedy)

Well would you look at that-

I am just full of surprises!

Not only do I travel…

and workout,

but I also eat.

I got a hold of this recipe from some random facebook group,

seriously though,

if you don’t follow all the food pages,

I don’t know what you’re even doing on facebook.

NO drama, ALL food.

That needs to be on a shirt…

So I found this recipe and I knew I needed to make it.

It originally called for chicken, but to be honest I am a bigger fan of turkey so I changed it up.

This is the…

Dun dun dunnnn

TURKEY CRUST PIZZA.

Maybe you’ve heard of it before,

Maybe you haven’t.

But I bet you haven’t seen me make it.

Actually no one has.

But today’s your lucky day.

Instead of just listing ingredients

And trying to convey how delicious it is with words,

I decided to put my broadcasting degree to use and get in front of the camera.

“Actions speak louder than words.”

I do have to warn you that I had no idea what I was doing,

In both the vlogging and in the cooking.

I thought it would be fine because,

how hard is it to just cook with a recipe in front of you…

Well let me tell you,

I am not good at following directions, I end up in Mexico on the way to El Paso

and because I just start getting ahead of myself so I end up just winging it…

This recipe is actually really good though!

haha i promise!

It has very low carbs and you can be as creative as you want

with your toppings, sauces, and crust!

But don’t be one of those people that puts pineapple on pizza…

Recipe:

Preheat oven to 450

Crust:

1 lb of ground meat (turkey, chicken, beef)

1 egg or 46g egg white

Seasonings of your choice

Mix all ingredients into large bowl with hands.

Flatten and spread mixture onto parchment paper on pizza pan

(make it thin)

Bake in oven for 10-15 min or until it is golden brown.

Drain off juices.

Toppings:

Turkey pepperoni 15 slices

mini peppers 85g

mushrooms 70g

Mozzarella Cheese 56g

Fat Free Mozzarella Cheese 28g
Eggplant and Artichoke pasta sauce 125g

As “crust” is cooking, saute all raw veggies in pan.

When crust is done, spread pasta sauce onto crust and add cheese, then toppings.

Set oven to broil and broil pizza until cheese is melted (about 5 min)

Cut pizza and ENJOY!

Eating Wright doesn’t have to be boring.

you don’t have to have grilled chicken, and veggies every meal.

And if you agree with my dad that it tastes like cardboard then I owe you a beer and a real slice of pizza…

But if you loved it then my job is done…

well not really cause i am trying to build this business.

But I hope it gives you all the good yums without the guilty feeling in the tums.

“Life is a combination between magic and pizza.”

Forever,

and ever…

Choose love,

Kels
